Jordan Brand revives one of its favourites from the mid 2000s, with OG sneakerheads finally getting another crack at owning the elusive colourway. During a period when Jordan retro love was booming and matching Jumpman tracksuits were all the rage, one shoe has since managed to escape the re-release until now.
As the majority of original pairs have either crumbled, turned into beaters or fetch too high a price, this 2024 Jordan 5 "Olive" retro will be making dreams come true for many patient footwear fanatics.
The "Olive" edition features a premium green suede construction across the upper, its many panels revealing a different direction of brushed suede. Orange accented shark teeth, Jumpman labels, and inner lining are right on the money with the original hue, a detail that will surely win over the older Jordan heads. In typical AJ5 style, the tongue comes appropriately covered in 3M, followed by an icy outsole below which maintains that true to form. The box is a slight change in direction however, covered in a cement print and matching orange Jumpman with an olive green circular background.
Dropping for the price of £190 on the 9th of March 2024 via the Nike SNKRS app as well as select retailers, you will want to set a reminder on these because demand from OG Jordan collectors is high. Find out where to buy the Air Jordan 5 Retro “Olive” by keeping it locked to The Sole Supplier!
