Nike are celebrating the 23rd anniversary of one of the most vital points in the brands history by launching the Jordan 7 Ray Allen | 304775-053.
Rewind to the NBA’s 1996 Draft and the Minnesota Timberwolves pick Ray Allen with the 5th pick. As soon as he was drafted he was traded to the Milwaukee Bucks and the rest is history. Allen went to go on to be a 2-time NBA Champion and 10-Time All-Star and have one of the storied careers in recent NBA history.
Not only was he dope on the court but he was also one of the first athletes signed to Jordan Brand. This Jordan VII pays homage to the moment he signed with the Jumpman. Coming in Allen’s first team colours and having his logo in the sock liner, this sneaker is a fitting homage to the great man.
Coming with a supple black nubuck on the upper, this is contrasted by bold purple hits on the side panels and Jumpman logo.
Hitting select retailers from June 1 and retailing at £165 the Jordan 7 Ray Allen | 304775-053 is a sneaker that will be one for the collectors in years to come.
