Concepts x Nike Air Max 1 Far Out

Boston-based streetwear and luxury brand, Concepts, has just tied up with Nike to celebrate the 35th anniversary of Nike Air Max. Meet the Concepts x Nike Air Max 1 Wild Violet.

The upper is an explosion of mixed materials and colour. The toebox, eyestay panel and quarter are all in stonewashed blue denim. A purple paisley print wraps around the toe cap, the mudguard and part of the heel. Genuine cowhide in yellow and tan accent the eyestay panel and part of the quarter. Mismatched signature profile Swooshes adorn the quarters. A blue, green and beige striped Swoosh outlined in black is on the medial side while a retro floral print Swoosh with embroidery is on the lateral side. An mint green paisley print panel sits on top of the purple paisley cupsole.The ankle collar shows off a Southwestern tribal pattern with splashes of red. The corduroy sockliner, laces and tongue are all in vivid red. Co-branding appears on the tongue while Concepts branding in red stands out on the royal blue insole. A co-branded blue guitar pick hang tag is attached to the collar eyelet. A Sail-coloured midsole with an exposed Air unit and a tan rubber outsole complete the look of the shoe.
