Nike Air Max 1 PRM QS Escape

If you’re still unsure about getting that treeline tattoo, take one step closer with this latest Air Max 1. It’s been over 35 years since Nike dropped its first shoe with visible Air, switching up the silhouette’s traditional tooling for a more interesting theme in 2023. If you were keen on the colour palette featured on the LeBron James and Liverpool Air Max 1 iteration but can’t be seen supporting The Reds in any way shape or form, then this “Escape” edition might be the perfect alternative.

A black suede forms the mudguard panel, creating a divide between the upper and the classic white midsole below. Pushing the black and white motif are the thick set of laces which are constructed from dual-coloured threads. Red accents detail the eyelets and Nike Air branding on the heel, while green leather forms the sidewall Swoosh that sits on a concrete grey panel below. The most exciting addition comes in the form of the embroidered treeline, a piece of storytelling from the Swoosh that we’ve not seen before. Notably, this edition is labelled as ‘Premium’, which considering the nappy suede and upgraded mesh is not immediately obvious. We’ll have to wait for a closer look so we can judge whether or not the quality of this Air Max 1 is truly up to scratch.

The Nike Air Max 1 PRM QS "Escape" will be hitting the Nike SNKRS app and select retailers on the 25th of May. Make sure not to sleep on these as Air Max heads will certainly anticipating this drop, eagerly awaiting to add this to their collection.
