Unlike any other Air Max 1, the mad scientists at Nike opt for a reversed theme that is both eye-catching and stylish. It’s hard not to miss some of the detailing which includes visible stitch marks across the entire upper.
Lightweight nylon – only ever seen on the inner lining- finds its way across the upper. On this pair, a premium suede mudguard adds some all important refinement. Even the Swoosh is reversed on the AM1 ‘Inside Out’ for a unconventional look that somehow just works. Those muted panels of wheat coloured suede are contrasted nicely by the red stitching. Finally, that same colourway hits the laces and also features to the inner Air Unit.
