The Nike Air Max 1 OG Obsidian arrives as part of the anniversary campaign for ’30 Years Of Air’. If you’re not familiar with this iconic colourway, are you even a sneakerhead?? It doesn’t get more vintage or timeless and given that these haven’t released in over four years, expect plenty of hype amongst collectors.
Nike released most of their anniversary colourways to celebrate 30 years since the inception of the Air Max 1 during this year’s annual event held in March. Several hyped colourways launched for the Air Max Day celebrations but it appears Nike have saved some of the best to close-out 2017.
Just like the OG ‘Obsidian’ Air Max 1, this silhouette features a soft nylon upper complimented by suede overlays throughout. Light grey features across the sidewall whilst dark navy covers the mudguard as well as the Swoosh. Hits of vibrant red feature to the eyelets, tongue branding and outsole underfoot.
