This Nike Air Max 95 has a “Black/ White/ Pure Platinum/ Light Smoke Grey” colour scheme. The wavy overlays are in leather, mesh, suede, and textured leather materials, moving from the darkest colour on the bottom layer to the lightest at the top. White embroidered leather Swooshes appear on the lateral heel and are outlined in black. What makes this shoe distinctive, however, is the Japanese scale pattern in black and white found on the heel spine and the tread. Pops of red also appear in the form of Nike Air branding on tongue tabs, the heel and the exposed Air units on the forefoot and heel areas of the midsole.
