The Nike Air Max 97 Violet Multi takes things up a notch with this bold iteration of the much-loved silhouette.
Arriving just in time for the heat wave, this white and purple Air Max 97 levels up this iconic design, with flashes of bright colours around the upper, tongue and midsole. Immediately, our eyes are drawn to the vibrant purple that covers the lower, wave-shaped piping, contouring the shoe and down the centre of the tongue. From above, a maze-like pattern is enhanced with black detailing, contrasting with the clean, white mesh base layer that takes over the upper.
A miniature yellow Swoosh sits on top of a pastel blue badge on the tongue, with the same coloured Swoosh decorating the side walls. A textured leather mudguard covers the lower portion of the upper, with a black grippy underfoot providing traction. The Swoosh brands signature transparent Air Unit sole features at the heel and through the centre of the shoe, showing off the bright pink bubble midsole. Flashes of hot pink also appear on the outer sole and the lace eyelets, with blue ‘airmax’ branding in the heel tab.
