Nike Air Max BW Beijing

As the Nike Air Max BW’s 30th Anniversary winds up, the model that first debuted in 1991 is releasing its “City Pack”. One of its latest additions is the Nike Air Max BW Beijing.

This Tinker Hatfield-designed pair has a very similar colour blocking to the Persian Violet colourway, however it has replaced the violet with violet-tinted brown. The mesh base is pitch black with a cream suede toe cap covered with a black suede. The eye stays are a tumbled leather black, matching the laces. The Swooshes on the later side are a Beijing brown rubber. This colour is repeated on the plush neoprene collar and tongue. A perforated white TPU wraps around the heel and matches the white of the midsole. The midsole features the BW or "Big Window," the large visible Air unit underfoot. Two gold deubrés cap off the look, one displaying 1991 and the other 2021, representing 30 years of Air Max.
