Dutch streetwear boutique Patta ventures into uncharted territory with its latest Nike collaboration, giving the futuristic Dn8 a contemporary update. Unveiled by founder Edson Sabajo, the Patta x Nike Air Max Dn8 “Black” reimagines the next-gen lifestyle shoe with utilitarian-inspired details and glossy materials, ensuring your style stands out when you step outside. With two decades of successful partnerships, this project marks an all-new era for the Beaverton sportswear giant and the Amsterdam-based retailer as they reinterpret another flagship model.
This iteration features a blacked-out patent leather upper with a white contrast stitch around the edges, which highlights each panel. The perforated leather vamp is one of the most notable renovations to the silhouette’s design, nodding to the classic look of ‘80s basketball sneakers. White mesh fabrics cover the cut-out slashes on the sidewalls for breathability. A royal blue accent highlights the nylon lace loops for a pop of colour. The trademark Swoosh logo appears on the forefoot and lateral sidewall, complementing the co-branding on the oversized tongue and sockliner. The round two-tone laces and branded carabiner embrace an outdoorsy aesthetic, making this pair suitable for your Gorpcore outfits.
