Updated 24th October, 2025: London’s own streetwear titan, Palace Skateboards, officially joins forces with Nike for an exciting new venture that has already captured the attention of enthusiasts worldwide. While there were rumours late last year of a possible collab on the Air Max DN8, it seems like the two are coming together to revive an entirely different shoe.
This partnership intends to fuse classic football heritage with contemporary streetwear style, and confirmed images of the debut collection have surfaced, confirming what many hoped for. We understand this collection centres on the Total 90 archive, specifically calling back to the mid 2000s football aesthetic within a series of hoodies, track jackets and t-shirts. Forget the earlier market chatter regarding a possible Air Max shoe; this project focuses on a completely different, and arguably more interesting part of Nike's history. Palace chooses to own the narrative by resurrecting the Total 90 theme, and the execution looks spot on.
The main talking point here is the freshly devised “P90” emblem. This graphic takes the circular Total 90 identity, recognisable from that era of football kit, and cleverly integrates the Palace 'P' into its structure. This specific design choice guarantees immediate recognition and a heavy dose of nostalgia for anyone who watched players like Wayne Rooney or Roberto Carlos dominate the pitch wearing that era's gear. Seeing that old T90 mark resurrected is a truly potent move.
The confirmed photos show the range centres on apparel built for movement. We see full tracksuits, hoodies, and athletic shorts, all drawing heavily on early noughties sports aesthetic. The clothing arrives primarily in grey, punctuated sharply by accents of high visibility neon green (or Volt, as we know the colour). These pieces carry the cobranded logos prominently, making the collection’s sporting origin absolutely clear.
The highly anticipated collection will officially drop on Friday, 31st October. Want the best chance to cop? Keep following The Sole Supplier and download our app for more and smash that bell icon for your best chance at snagging these for retail.
Original story: Nike x Palace Partnership: Could the Collaboration Debut with an Air Max?
Palace Skateboards is preparing to enter uncharted territory in its 15 year history with its first ever collaboration with Nike. According to rumours, the London based skate brand will take on Nike’s upcoming Air Max DN8 for its debut project with the Swoosh, set to launch in 2025.
Renowned for its skate ready apparel and clever collaborations, Palace has built a reputation as one of the UK’s most beloved streetwear labels. Over the years, adidas has been one of its standout partners, with the two brands enjoying a decade long partnership from 2014 to 2024. However, it’s been a while since the two brands launched a sneaker together. The news of Palace’s new partnership with Nike broke in July, making the Air Max DN8 one of the first pieces in this exciting new chapter.
The upcoming Palace x Nike Air Max DN8 collaboration is expected to be part of Nike’s Holiday 2025 lineup, with a tentative release window between October and December, though the exact launch date remains unconfirmed.
This project will mark Palace’s first foray into Nike sneaker design, having previously partnered with adidas, New Balance, and Reebok on footwear. News of Palace’s new partnership with Nike broke in July, making the Air Max DN8 one of the first pieces in this exciting new chapter.
The Air Max DN8 itself is a lifestyle sneaker and a sequel to Nike’s 2024 Air Max Dn. Known for its innovative “Dynamic Air” cushioning, the DN8 expands on its predecessor’s design by featuring tubular Air bags that run the full length of the sole.
As of now, Nike has declined to comment on the Palace x Nike Air Max DN8, a typical stance for the brand in response to leaked information.
Nevertheless, this collaboration is shaping into a monumental moment for both Palace and Nike. Stay locked into The Sole Supplier for all the updates on this and more.
