Palace x adidas Samba PUIG White Black Gum

Palace contributes to the Samba hype in 2023 with its PUIG edition, not letting its skateboarding roots fall by the wayside. Included in the three shoe capsule is this “White Black Gum” colourway, a classic make-up that has spent decades drawing in the eyes of adidas fans. Now the football icon crosses paths with Lucas Puig's signature skateboarding shoe, spawning a first time hybrid for those who want to grab a line in the archival classics.

For fans of both sneakerheads and the Samba, the gum sole is a very welcomed edition. Like an old friend, the white leather is partnered together with three black stripes, tastefully accented with a suede toe box which is standard uniform on the Samba . On the ridged tongue sits a large Tri-Ferg, beckoning out just as it has on the previous Palace x adidas projects. On the side wall sits the gold foil lettering, a scripture that cements the Samba’s legacy onto yet another upper. Underfoot, the PUIGs tread keeps the pair fully functional, making sure that this merging of shoes isn’t just for show.
