Stussy x Nike Air Penny 2 Rattan Limestone

Stüssy and Nike continues its rollout of the Air Penny 2 with this third colourway. The Swoosh has been eager to bring back the buzz for its ‘90s basketball selection, with silhouettes like the Air Foamposite One, Air Pippen 1 and Air Penny 2 in the line-up for 2023. Having been on a hot streak since dropping the Zoom Spiridon Cage 2 capsule in 2020, Stüssy is sure to reignite the love for the Air Penny 2 with its magic touch and slew of tasty colourways.

The tooling hasn’t changed as the Air Penny 2’s wavering midsole climbs up the side walls in a deep black. The laces, pull tabs and piping have also opted for a black palette, contrasting the light tones of the fossil upper. Divided in two, the upper’s suede and canvas construction complement one another, providing the silhouette with a further semblance of balance. Stüssy branding on the midsole is etched on in a blue, matching the Air unit under the heel. On the rear lies a mini Swoosh and Air branding in a black, only centimetres beneath a thick rope pull tab that makes these easy to slip on.
