The year of 2020 has undeniably had some crazy releases, but the anticipated release of the Matthew M Williams x Nike Zoom MMW 4 Bone White might just be the craziest one yet. Official images of the most aggressively styled shoe we've ever seen are now live and we are taking our first-ever closer look at the pair.
Over the recent years and up until now, the Swoosh brand continues to stun sneakerheads globally with high-profile collaborations. This time, in partnership with American designer Matthew Williams, founder of 1017 ALYX 9SM and current creative director of Givenchy, the forthcoming Zoom Air boasts an exaggerated structure that is guaranteed to turn heads wherever you go.
At first look, the pair shows an ultra-breathable Flyknit crafted upper adorning a Bone White colorway across the overlays of this sneaker's high-cut design. The lateral and medial side of the pair appears in stacks of sleek taping and chrome elements giving off a futuristic-mechanised aesthetic, then rounded off with an iconic black Swoosh emblem for a classic Nike look we all know and love.
Underfoot, a widely sculpted midsole equipped with Zoom Air units offers an insane amount of comfort and an empty circle at the heel provides a springy fit. To complete the look, a printed text that reads MMW appears forefront paired up with a miniature Swoosh logo nods to another Nike collaboration that is sure to be an instant sell-out on drop day.
As for the release details of the Matthew M Williams Nike Zoom MMW 4, they are tagged with a heavy retail price of £390 a pop and will be launching on the 21st of December.
