Introducing the Nike Air Zoom Spirimic Navy. If you didn’t guess by the name, this is a mash-up release where Nike bring together two iconic silhouettes: the Air Zoom Spiridon with Nike Seismic. The result is an ultra distinctive silhouette that looks both contemporary and relevant, surprising given these two shoes are both retro runners.
That said, these both share a common trait as they were way ahead of their time when launched in the 90s. Bringing lightweight technology, comfort and an curb appeal, to the running market, they pioneered the way for all stylish performance footwear to follow.
Celebrating that heritage, Nike have taken the best elements and fused them together. On the lower half, the white midsole is instantly distinguishable as the Air Zoom. It provides unrivalled cushioning made even more impressive thanks to its lightweight construct.
The upper is classically Seismic with a combination of both mesh and suede. You can expect a snug fit that contours to the shape of your foot. Those hard-wearing overlays provide excellent support as well as a premium finish. Finally, an integrated lacing system adapts to movement, tightening and loosening as needed.
The Nike Air Zoom Spirimic Navy is scheduled to release on Thursday 10th November via the retailers listed. Stay tuned for updates on this collection.
