After forefronting the return of two OG colourways, the “White Black” and “White Red Black”, globally-renowned award-winning singer and songwriter Billie Eilish unveils new styles of the classic late ‘80s basketball shoe. The Nike Air Alpha Force celebrates its 35th anniversary in 2023, marking its first-ever retro release since debuting in 1988. This Billie Eilish x Nike Air Alpha Force 88 “Venom Green” incorporates bright volt tones for a contemporary take on the old-school silhouette.
The Nike Air Alpha Force is a late ‘80s basketball shoe worn by many NBA greats like Charles Barkley, but the shoe is more popularly known as one of Michael Jordan’s non-signature sneakers he wore before the Air Jordan 3 arrived. With the help of music superstar Billie Eilish, the brand dug deep into its basketball archives to bring the silhouette back. This “Venom Green” colourway expands the roster following the release of two OG styles. It has a clean white leather upper with black tones surrounding the midfoot strap, lining, and heel midsole. Vibrant volt accents adorn the Swoosh, mesh collar, eyestay, outsole, and the basketball logo on the tongue. AAF88 replaces the usual Air branding, a subtle detail differentiating Billie Eilish collabs and regular pairs. Co-branded sockliners wrap up this classic basketball sneaker.
