Nike gears up for more general-release colourways of the Nike Air Alpha Force 88 after returning for the first time since its debut in 1988. Following a Billie Eilish collaboration and comeback of OG styles like the “White University Red”, the old-school basketball trainer emerges in a lifestyle-focused makeover with the “Black Guava Ice” rendition.

Recognised as one of the rare non-Air Jordan models Michael Jordan wore in an NBA game, the Nike Air Alpha Force 88 also served as one of the primary on-court options of NBA Hall of Famer Charles Barkley. This colourway has an all-black suede construction, with leather Swooshes, TPU straps, and a mesh, sock-like collar. The Air Force label and orange basketball logo on the tongue stand out atop the blacked-out upper. Elsewhere, the PU midsole flaunts a sail white tone that resonates with its vintage style.
