The limited-edition Nike AlphaFly 3 “Eliud Kipchoge” pays homage to the influence and legacy of the legendary Kenyan long-distance runner. The former world record holder and two-time Olympic gold medalist remains the face of Nike’s running division, having been part of several brand campaigns and the star of the Breaking2 project.

This marathon supershoe dons a vibrant colour scheme inspired by the Kenyan track and field team’s Olympic uniforms. The lightweight, stretchy AtomKnit uppers utilise a Vapour Green accent, adorned with a massive black Swoosh that overlaps onto the midsole. Embroidered labels animate the tongue and forefoot, whilst a minimalist “EK” rests on the sockliner and heel pull tab. The ultra-plush ZoomX foam midsole boasts an orange gradient paint job, co-signed by an Eliud Kipchoge autograph on the lateral section. The dual Zoom Air units in the forefoot work alongside the full-length carbon fibre Flyplate to absorb impact and distribute springy cushioning mile after mile.
