Long-time collaborators Supreme and Nike expand their sneaker joint venture by reviving this forgotten tennis trainer from the early 2000s, the Nike Air Zoom Courtposite. Having been teased by young professional tennis superstar Carlo Alcaraz on social media, this silhouette, constructed with the brand’s cutting-edge Foamposite upper technology, looks forward to a seamless transition from tennis courts to city streets. The Supreme x Nike Air Zoom Courtposite “White” returns for the first time since its debut, now co-branded with the signature minimalist imprint from the streetwear giant.
Nike introduced the Air Zoom Courtposite in 2002, deviating from the usual lightweight construction of tennis shoes during that era. The short-lived shoe features a Foamposite upper, providing maximum support and stability with its rigid base. This collaborative colourway with Supreme flaunts an all-white upper, highlighted by red Swooshes on the lateral rear and the signature Supreme box logo on the tongue and eyestay. Metallic silver accents illuminate the midfoot shank plate for torsional support. Meanwhile, the segmented rubber outsole with wavy traction patterns wraps up this archival tennis trainer.
