The Nike Daybreak Type N.354 Laser Orange Grey is a reimagined version of the retro Nike silhouette that traces right back to the original prototype of the model. The Daybreak is a very early silhouette and showcases the legendary waffle sole that was revolutionary at the time. It was designed by co-founder Bill Bowerman after much trial and error.
The uppers of the sneaker are crafted from a blend of technical mesh, suedes and leathers for a panelled and all-round textured look. The yellow base layer is accentuated with grey and black panels, making for a well-considered colourway. Swoosh branding is kept to a minimum, with just an outline on either side while retro embroidery resides on the tongue.
Underfoot, a whited-out midsole rounds off the look neatly, considering modern day cushioning to ensure that you’ll never regret stepping into these with a long day ahead. The black waffle outsole provides a finishing touch, cementing the fact that these are undeniably retro.
