Made for recreational use, the Arts-Rec x Nike SB Dunk Low “Khaki” showcases an animal-inspired aesthetic, paying homage to the San Diego Zoo’s wildlife scenery. Founded in 2018 by pro skater Kellen James, Arts-Rec Skateshop became a hotspot for everything skateboarding, celebrating the community and creative spirit of the City in Motion. Dropping alongside the SB Air Trainer 1, this debut collaboration highlights the legendary Safari graphic, a pattern popularised by Tinker Hatfield in the ‘80s.
This skate shoe features a soft pink hue on the vamp and collar with olive green accents on the tumbled leather quarter and back tab. A black panther print animates khaki suede overlays, while an orange shaggy suede Swoosh decorates the sidewalls. The traditional SB branding adorns the puffy tongue, complementing the mismatched “arts rec” label on the rear and co-branded details on the animal print sockliner. The playful embroidery inside the tongue displays a “Please Do Not Tap On Glass” and "Please Do Not Feed The Animals" warnings, nodding to the silhouette’s zoo theme. Elsewhere, a rhinoceros and lion illustration appears on the Air Zoom units on the heel. The SD/CA callout on the semi-translucent outsole honours Arts-Rec’s home city. This pair arrives with special-edition wrapping papers and additional white, green, pink, and orange laces to personalise your style.
Releasing on the 22nd of July via the Nike SNKRS app and select UK skate shops, you can find out where to buy the Arts-Rec x Nike SB Dunk Low “Khaki” by keeping it locked to The Sole Supplier!
