Nike SB is back at it, picking out another independent skate shop to cosign in 2026. This time, the spotlight swings toward Manchester's NOTE, delivering a certified British institution right to your feet: the glorious ritual of tea and biscuits.
Hype is already brewing for the NOTE x Nike SB Dunk Low, an early peek at what happens when a UK skate powerhouse goes full tilt collaboration. NOTE has been decking out the UK skate scene from its shop in Northern Quarter since 1999; a time before Nike’s SB division had even got its official stamp. They’ve been a reliable source for gear for over twenty five years, and now they're finally getting the full 1-on-1 treatment.
If you're going to celebrate British culture, you had better get the details right (or down to a 'tea'). And NOTE has absolutely delivered the goods here. The Dunk Low upper is wrapped in a buttery, smooth Flax brown suede, which sits on a classic, crisp white sole. It’s warm, it’s inviting, it's our favourite dunk-ed digestive biscuit!
But the devil, as always, is in the detail. Forget plain laces; these come printed with an actual biscuit pattern. That pattern continues on the inner lining, turning the inside of your shoe into a portable snack aisle.
The inner tongue tags are where the real deep cut culture appears, displaying classic British biscuits alongside a shade guide for the varying strength of your cuppa; from a milky splash to builder's brew.
There’s one element that elevates this release from a fun concept to a genuine statement: the outsole ring. That brown ring around the white sole unit isn’t just decorative. It mirrors the exact mark a mug of strong tea leaves behind when it hits fabric or wood. It's a memory, a minor everyday annoyance, transformed into a permanent fixture on an iconic shoe. That single, visceral detail is the kind of stuff only an actual insider can dream up.
Another brilliant detail are the interchangeable Swooshes. You get options in a solid brown or a pink grid pattern. It's a nice little switch up, letting you match your shoe's personality to your outfit (or maybe just your current mood).
Yes, black or white trainers are universally wearable, but a warm, character-driven brown like this is a refreshing option for the rotation. This collaboration is a brilliant example of how hyper-local culture can be stamped onto a global silhouette like the Dunk.
From Thomas Street to anyone in the world with feet, we aren't sure if this will be a UK or EU exclusive just yet, but seeing as everyone knows us for our tea'n'biscuits, we think this NOTE SB will get a worldwide release.
We're not expecting this tea and biscuits masterpiece until Spring 2026, dropping for about £120. For your best chance at snagging these for retail, all you've got to do is hit that bell icon!
