Carhartt x Nike SB Dunk Low Brown

Unknown to most, the relationship between Carhartt and Nike dates back to 2004 with the duo teaming up to release an SB Dunk. The last time the two paired up was in 2018, releasing a capsule containing four shoes which included the likes of the Air Force 1, Air Max 95{product:carhartt-x-nike-air-max-95-camo-green|/release-dates/nike/air-max-95/carhartt-x-nike-air-max-95-camo-green/}(/new){sub-brand:air-max-95|/release-dates/nike/air-max-95/|sneaker}(/new) and Vandal High Supreme. Now rumours are circulating around another future release between the workwear turned streetwear legends and the Nike SB division. With the majority of ’04 pairs cooked, the two would have to brush off a few cobwebs and capture that collaborative energy once again. As the Nike SB x Air Jordan 4 soared to new heights, the magic of SB releases is back in action for 2023.

While no official imagery has been revealed for the 2023 Dunk SB edition, we’ve got a feeling that the signature Carhartt brown should make another appearance. The heritage shade of brown was used on the canvas upper of the 2018 Air Force 1 edition, transforming the '80s basketball classic into what looked like a Chore Jacket, especially with the hits of brown corduroy on the pull tab. Given the collaboration is skate specific, don’t be surprised if the shoe comes clad in a heavy canvas construction, ready to face all the wear and tear from a hard day of skating.
