FAUST x Nike SB Dunk High Black Gold

New York-based world-renowned graffiti artist, FAUST, has teamed up with Nike to dress up the latter’s skateboarding Dunks. Take a closer look at the FAUST x Nike SB Dunk High Black Gold.

This high-cut Nike SB Dunk comes in tonal black, mixing different materials on the upper. The base is nubuck while all the overlays are in smooth leather. The laces, the leather tongue and the profile Swooshes on both sides of the shoe are also in black. This lays the foundation for the mid-panels that show off the artist’s calligraphic graffiti artwork on both sides of the shoe in a mismatched manner. The lateral side of the left shoe has embroidered gold graffiti with a drip-like effect as though just newly painted on. The medial side of the left shoe, on the other hand, has a Swoosh with a gold graffiti embroidered outline. The right shoe has black embroidered graffiti defacing the Swooshes on both sides. The black metallic lace deubrés show off FAUST’s signature in gold. An all-black sole unit and gold-and-black laces with gold lace tips cap off the style of these kicks.
