The Grateful Dead x Nike SB Dunk Low Orange is one of two colorways set to launch as part of the collaborative capsule between the highly-coveted rock band and Nike’s dedicated skateboarding range. Nike SB launched in 2002 and has since birthed some of the most sought-after sneaker releases of all-time, so it only makes sense for Grateful Dead to lend their iconic bear mascots to the SB Dunk.
The uppers are crafted from high-quality suede and also showcase furry fabric, imitating the classic bear motif. Nike’s Swoosh logo swipes through the lateral and medial sides in green, while other notable details include a zip stash pocket at the tongue and model specific branding on the heel. The pair displays the Grateful Dead’s attitude perfectly and will definitely be on the cop-list for many!
Underfoot, a classic Dunk midsole houses all the usual Nike Air technology beneath the feet, ensuring that these are more than up to the task of providing all the necessary cushioning for the high-impact sport of skateboarding.
