Few collabs hit harder than the ones you never see coming. The Nardwuar x Nike SB Dunk Low “Multi Black” is one that has been in the making for the last two decades, one that is certainly set to bring back the SB Dunk Low fans back. Inspired by the legendary Canadian interviewer’s eccentric style and unmatched energy, this pair brings his unmistakable tartan getup to the streets, reworked through the lens of Nike SB’s most iconic silhouette.
The canvas upper is wrapped in a multi-colour plaid lifted straight from a vintage photo of Nardwuar in his signature Scottish suit and tam hat. That same pom-pom from his cap? Reimagined here as twin lace adornments, adding playful detail right out of the gate. A fuzzy black nubuck Swoosh sits proudly on the sidewall, contrasting against the busy backdrop, while tonal black midsoles ground the design. Flip the heel and outsole and you’ll spot a printed “Doot doola doot doo… doot doo!” speech bubble—a cheeky nod to his iconic sign-off. Extra laces in red, blue, green, and yellow mirror the individual threads that make up the plaid, and Nardwuar’s silhouette appears inside on the heel bed for a final co-signed stamp.
Dropping via Nike SNKRS on December 9th as well as UK skate shops on the December 6th, this SB Dunk is equal parts wearable, wild, and weird, in all the right ways. Keep it locked to The Sole Supplier and don’t miss your shot at this one-of-a-kind collab.
