Nike Dunk High Halloween 2023

Nike and holiday-themed make-ups go together like cookies & milk, biscuits & tea, bed & breakfast, spaghetti & meatballs…you get the gist. A leaked image of an upcoming Halloween Dunk High has surfaced, coating the shoe in all the signature spooky colours that can be found among the decorations that day. Nike SB fans will certainly be doing a double take with these looking eerily similar to the Dunk Low “Raygun Home” release from 2005. If this drop can come close to recreating the love that surrounds 2014’s Air Max 95 “Halloween”, then expect a scary amount of hype!

The last time we saw a Halloween Dunk was in 2019 when Nike SB kitted the shoe out with a glow-in-the-dark sole and spider web embroidery. From what we can so far, the 2023 version seems a little less scary and plays more into the colour palette surrounding the holiday instead. A heavy orange swarms the heel portion, with a clay red sandwiched between the white on the toe. It appears like there might be an underfoot print that lies behind an icy outsole, however, we won’t be able to confirm that until we get more photos. What is clearly visible is the small, embroidered tooth on the outside heel, a strange reference to Halloween yet one that may become more obvious with further photos.
