Nike Dunk High St. John

Harkening back to the Be True To Your School campaign in 1985, the Nike Dunk High “St. John” returns for its 40th anniversary. The ‘80s were a phenomenal era for the Beaverton sportswear brand’s basketball department. Aside from signing a rookie Michael Jordan to a contract, Nike’s success stemmed from the BTTYS series, where some of the top colleges and universities rocked the now-iconic Dunk to match their uniforms.

True to the original, this iteration flaunts a crisp white leather underlay with bright red overlays inspired by St. John University’s team colours. The trademark Swoosh covers the lateral and medial quarter, complementing the traditional Nike label on the nylon tongue and cushioned sockliner. Intended for sports, a padded collar provides support around your ankles. The solid rubber outsole incorporates a pivot circle and concentric patterns for excellent traction.
