Since its inception in 2009, the N7 range from Nike has continued to highlight the deep roots of the Indigenous history in America. Another release set to join the lineage of N7 products is this rumoured Dunk Low Decon, boasting a design that has evoked a lot of interest from the sneakerhead community.
While we are unsure of the direct inspiration behind the shoe’s story, it is clear that the main focus point is the detailed embroidery. A colourful array of flowers and birds decorate the black panelling on the shoe, while the rest of the materials are formed from what appears to be a hemp canvas. An overlocking stitch pattern gives the pair a hand-made aesthetic, a narrative that is played into by the colourful embroidery and rustic construction. On the heel tab lies a mini Swoosh and N7 logo, the only reference to the Project’s connection that remains visible from the current crop of product images.
This Nike Dunk Low is set to drop alongside another “White Red” pair, however we are still waiting on an official date confirmation. Make sure to keep it locked into The Sole Supplier for any more information regarding this release!
