Nike Dunk Low Glow in the Dark

Even if glow-in-the-dark shoes are nothing new, sneakerheads can’t help but get excited each time a new pair comes out. The KAWS x Nike Air Jordan 4, the Nike SB Dunk Low “Mummy” and even the Jeremy Scott x adidas Originals “Glow in the Dark” are all among the long list of glow-in-the-dark sneakers that somehow manage to bring out our inner child. Any other item of clothing and the novelty of glow in the dark would be off-putting but placed on a pair of trainers means we simply can’t get enough. This latest Nike Dunk Low certainly doesn’t hold back, drenching the whole shoe with GITD elements that’ll have you holding these up to a lamp once you rip them straight out of the box.

Unlike most of the pairs previously mentioned, Nike has not limited its glowing features at all, taking to the Dunk’s upper for that ‘more is more’ approach. In the light, the lime green hues can be found on both the outsole and leather panelling, paired against a glossy green for contrast. A black Swoosh, white tongue and laces are standard details which keep the pair looking relatively normal during the day; come nighttime, however, these Dunks transform into looking other-worldly.
