Even classics can use an upgrade. Meet the Nike Dunk Low Next Nature University Red — first introduced in the ‘80s, revived in the modern-day, and is now ready for the future. By all appearances, this Nike Dunk Low iteration looks like a twin to the one released in the iconic 1985 Be True To Your School Collection. Coming in a White/Gym Red colourway, it features the same colour blocking: a white smooth leather base topped with red leather overlays.

The design is untouched but the construction is where the difference comes. This retro shoe is now sustainably made and is built with at least 20 percent recycled materials by weight. Underfoot, you’ll see that the outsole is speckled — a sign that it uses Nike Grind rubber, a sturdy material made from manufacturing scraps. The final nod to the silhouette's eco-friendly reincarnation is spotted at the footbed where ​​Nike’s Move To Zero pinwheel logo is placed on a neon green background.
