Nike bolsters its picnic-inspired “Gingham Pack” with a new Dunk Low colourway. The collection, composed of iconic models like the Air Force 1 Low, Dunk, Blazer, and Air Max 90, flaunts titular gingham fabrics reminiscent of picnic blankets. This Nike Dunk Low “Pink Gingham” displays pastel pink tones highlighted by gingham overlays, akin to its Blazer Mid counterpart.
Originally a basketball shoe from 1985 with a skate variant that debuted in 2002, the Nike Dunk got a new lease on life in 2020 following several collabs and re-issue of the Be True to Your School editions. While we’ve been getting multiple Dunk Low “ Panda ” restocks in 2023, this new colourway opts for a material change centred around gingham fabrics. The shoe has a pastel pink leather base and white Swooshes on the sides. Pink gingham overlays cover the toe, eyestay, and foxing. Classic Nike branding decorates the nylon tongue, heel, and sockliner. The white midsole and pink rubber outsole wrap up this pastel-clad colour scheme.
