Nike are releasing a follow up to the “Silver Surfer” Dunk over twenty years later, giving collectors no option but to pull out their wallets once again. This edition is another part of the Swoosh’s new Cult Classic range, with the original version having dropped all the way back in 2004. Unlike the KITH x ASICS capsules, this collaboration is an unofficial one as the shoe’s official name is Nike Dunk Low “Silver Blue”.
Split between a neutral grey leather and a flat silver mesh that reflects the skin of the silver-skinned Marvel supervillain. Unlike the ’04 version which featured darker blue hues, the chosen accenting colours are Aegean storm and gym red, breathing new life into the skateboarding icon. Underfoot remains the traditional Dunk midsole, arriving in a simple white and grey colour split that we’ve seen on other favourite make-ups such as the “Grey Fog” and “Light Pumice”.
If you’re a Marvel fan or a big lover of Nike’s early 2000s era of Dunks, you can find out where to pick up the Nike Dunk Low “Silver Surfer” by keeping it locked to The Sole Supplier!
