Nike Dunk Low Remastered Olive Orange

The design team over at the Swoosh clearly can’t get enough of a deconstructed Dunk as they’ve taken the knife to the silhouette yet again with this Remastered pair. After the Nike Dunk Disrupt Low WMNS was released in 2020 and saw a second iteration, Nike clearly learnt that we loved all things deconstructed. Known as the Dunk Low Remastered, the design language makes a return to form in this latest update.

The Dunk’s midsole has the same core, although the linear lines are now gone with this uneven split which manages to make its way onto the lip of the upper. Whilst this might look gimmicky, it actually provides a functional element as it protects from board scrapes during toe-off, making these more durable. The Swoosh has also been thickened in an olive supple leather, wrapping around the heel only to get swallowed up by the updated collar that has received some extra padding. The tongue has been given the most obvious change, with its almost military-style central eyestays. The laces weave in and out of the added strap, functioning like a front pull tab. If you’re a sucker for exposed foam and split tongue patches then Nike has also got you covered on that front, tapping into some of the features that made Virgil’s The Ten collection so distinct.
