Nike Dunk Low Twist Panda

Joining the entourage of Nike Dunk updates is the Twist edition, giving the 2023 line-up a tasty take on the “Panda” colourway. Recent mock-up images have revealed a series of tweaks that draw on modern design language, giving the 80s-born silhouette a contemporary update. This “Panda” colourway is sure to garner huge attention for the Twist, with people eager for an alternative yet wearable iteration of the 2022’s most popular Dunk.

The updated sole from the Remastered Dunk has been adopted by the update, allowing the Nike design team to focus its attention on the upper while also saving money on developing moulds for the sole. The Swoosh nods to both the Cortez and Ambush versions of the logo, applying a black glossy finish to match the shiny element on the shoe. Rubber tubing and dual-layered panelling imply improved durability on the Twist edition, changing the Dunk’s overall aesthetic in the process.
