Nike's Dunk model first emerged on the courts in 1985, styled in collegiate colourways in high and low-top renditions. After being absent from the scene for a number of years, the Beaverton sportswear brand re-introduced the model through high-profile collaborations and classic two-toned outfits. Now, the latest pair titled the Nike Dunk Low White Pure Platinum is arriving as a low-top counterpart to the Dunk High "White Pure Platinum".
The colour arrangement is simple but effective: white takes over the entire leather construction but leaves the Swoosh logos, branded heel tabs, and outsole in a light grey tone. Perforated toe boxes provide breathability while a full-length cushioned midsole beneath the feet delivers comfort to complete the Peter Moore-designed Nike shoes.
