Nike SB Dunk Low Pro Orange Aqua

With Nike SB at the helm, we can already set our expectations high with this particular release of the Dunk Low Pro. Bathed in a hairy suede, this iteration moves away from the stereotypical leather construction and heads for a playful approach that’ll be a must-cop for OG fans of the Dunk. The SB era of the early 2000s was a fun period for sneakerheads, accounted by many as a fond time for the industry, with oddball releases cropping up every month. It’s clear to see that Nike aims to capture that same magical energy on this release of the SB Dunk Low Pro “Orange Aqua”.

Starting off the foundation on this pair is the speckled beige midsole, continuing onto the outsole below instead of the usual divide in colours. An orange suede covers the toe guard and eyestay panelling, a hue reminiscent of the "Syracuse" Dunk High from the ’80s Know Your School pack. The orange is broken up by the aqua panelling, a combination that gives this edition its distinct edge. A darker teal Swoosh leaps onto the side wall, overlaying the lighter suedes below. The tongue label bears the same orange and aqua motif, while on the back, an embroidered Nike logo throws another key ingredient into the pot.
