The Off-White x Nike Rubber Dunk Green Strike Black is Virgil Abloh’s latest rule-breaking collaboration with the Oregon-based sportswear brand. The duo have been working together since 2017, and have single-handedly created some of the most-hyped releases of the last decade. Fans of Off-White are already gearing up for the Rubber Dunk, and it’s set to launch with a bang due to the current Dunk revival.

The classic silhouette is reimagined in high-quality and durable rubber, with technical mesh and synthetic panels breaking up the look for an ultra-modern appearance. Classic Nike branding is featured in the form of Swoosh logos on both the lateral and medial sides, while Abloh’s namesake branding is present as ever. Orange canvas tabs are present on the lateral side, while the instantly recognisable “SHOELACES” laces make an appearance. A dual-branded tongue showcases the luxury influence here and completes the look.

Underfoot, the Dunk sole is totally reimagined to feature a visible Air unit, a characteristic usually reserved for Air Max models. This totally switches up the look of the shoe, displaying Virgil’s ability to tamper with classics and create brand-new fan-favourites.
