Serena Williams Design Crew x Nike Dunk Low Disrupt 2 Multi

The Serena Williams Design Crew Batch 2023 celebrates the female tennis legend’s apprenticeship program in collaboration with Nike by launching this batch’s collection. First launched in 2021, the Serena Williams Design Crew consists of 10 young designers and curators with an opportunity to learn and excel in the fashion industry. This Serena Williams Design Crew x Nike Dunk Low Disrupt 2 “Multi” showcases a vibrant makeover highlighted by yellow, teal, and blue accents with wavy topographic panels.

What makes the program stand out is that each batch presents a fresh and unique design, bringing something new to the table in terms of being bold and expressive with the reimagined sneakers. The SWDC 2023 collective exhibits three silhouettes in the lineup featuring the iconic Air Max 1, a laceless Air Huarache, and this women’s Dunk Low Disrupt 2 model. This shoe has a clean white leather base with multicolour overlays of yellow, teal, and blue - all flaunting topographic textures. The thick and puffy tongue comes in navy blue, with pink Nike tags in an old-school font. Subtle Swooshes come in yellow stitching, overlapping the quarter panel and extending towards the rear. The semi-translucent heel counter has a teal hue, complementing the summer-focused makeover. Serena Williams’ signature sits on the sockliner, while the teal outsole rounds out this fresh design led by a team of up-and-coming designers.
