Like many of their previous Nike collaborations, Supreme choose a completely unconventional silhouette and revive the look for the modern day. This rendition celebrates the iconic Nike Gato – a long forgotten indoor football trainer.
The same leather upper of the original makes an appearance along with that iconic gum outsole underfoot. Other details stay true to the original such as the over-stretched Swoosh along the sidewall. However, there’s plenty of Supreme’s signature styling which sets this apart as an exclusive. Take for example, the shimmering iridescent mesh which features to the sidewall. On this pair, it features in yellow.
Supreme branding provides the finishing touches with the classic box logo as well as dual branding to the tongue.
The Supreme x Nike SB Gato Red is scheduled to release on 30th August via the retailers listed. A global launch is expected shortly after.
