The Powerpuff Girls x Nike SB Dunk Low Toddler Bubbles

Here they come just in time to close out the year with another banger release! The Powerpuff Girls join forces with the Nike SB sub-label for a three-pack collaboration featuring the quintessential SB Dunk. These iconic characters from the Cartoon Network franchise evoke nostalgia in sneaker form, helping shape the prominence of animated shows from the late ‘90s and early 2000s. This cutesy Powerpuff Girls Dunk Low Toddler “Bubbles” is the perfect all-season colour option for kids, boasting striking visuals as a nod to the optimistic and protective superhero from the City of Townsville.

Nike SB seems to have taken a page from Professor Utonium’s formula to produce these superpowered kicks. Crafted in a textured cracked leather base, this toddler-sized Powerpuff Girls SB Dunk boasts a vibrant blue hue encompassing the upper from heel to toe. Glossy accents add a premium touch to the sneaker’s exterior. Yellow leather Swooshes and laces present another signature detail from the titular character, contrasting the sea of blue. Co-branded Powerpuff Girls and Nike SB branding appear on the tongue, while a sugar graphic hides on the inner portion, playfully referencing one of the key ingredients that formed the Powerpuff Girls.

Another noticeable highlight on the sneaker is Bubbles’ huge eyes, embroidered on the heel panel and uniquely facing downward. The graphic sockliners feature the superpowered girls’ arch-nemesis, Mojo Jojo, surrounded by comic fight bubbles. An embedded Zoom Air unit on the heel provides superior cushioning underfoot. The blacked-out midsole bridges the upper to the blue semi-translucent rubber outsole, rounding out the one-of-a-kind design of the shoe.
