Vini Jr. finally gets his player edition of Nike’s most technical Mercurial Vapor football boot. What might be a simple mixture of Flyknit, studs and glue to some is actually the story of a star who went from the streets of Mutuá, Rio to the global stage. The Vini Jr. x Nike Mercurial Vapor 16 Elite FG marks the Brazilian icon’s first player edition model, and it is every bit as bold, fast and fearless as the man himself.
Drenched in a dynamic gradient that nods to his journey, from Flamengo reds and yellows to Brazil’s iconic green, blue and gold, this boot captures the Colour of Speed in full flight. The iridescent upper takes inspiration from the kites flown across Rio’s skyline, while the phrase “Vini Fly, Vini Voa” dances across the design, celebrating his movement as both signature and story. An oversized Vaporfly style Swoosh and his personal logo complete the look.
Make no mistake, this is still a performance powerhouse. A three quarter length Zoom Air unit sits beneath a wave shaped traction plate, built for explosive acceleration. Nike’s Gripknit upper delivers sharp control at top speed, while Flyknit at the collar and a contoured toe box offer lockdown and precision.
Dropping on the 26th of May for £255 via the Nike SNKRS app as well as Pro Direct Sport, you can find out where to pick up the Vini Jr. x Nike Mercurial Vapor 16 Elite FG Low "Black Green Spark" by keeping it locked to The Sole Supplier!
