Nike GTS 97 Valentine’s Day

The Nike GTS 97 gets subtly dressed up for Valentine’s Day, playing with materials and a neutral colourway. Meet the Nike GTS 97 Valentine’s Day.

The upper of this shoe is all Sail-coloured canvas from heel to toe. The toebox, toe cap and the mudguard from quarter to heel are plain canvas while the eyestay panel and the entire upper part of the quarter are covered with lace-like embroidery detailing hearts and roses. The laces are in Velvet Brown, a darker shade of cream. The signature profile Swooshes on both the medial and lateral sides are a mini size embroidery in Sail outlined with white. Retro Nike text logos are embroidered in Sail on the tongue tab and the heel tab. A Swoosh-mouthed face graphic with heart eyes appears on the insole resembling the “Have A Nike Day” face graphic together with a reminder that the shoe is made from recycled textile that can be customised. A pure white midsole and a caramel-coloured gum outsole with a herringbone pattern complete the look of the shoe.
