Designed by Eric Avar, the KB4 is the first-ever low-cut model in the signature line, helping athletes move faster on the court. This iteration features a muted gold synthetic upper with snakeskin-inspired textures on the front, collar, and rear to fulfil the Mamba Mentality. Open mesh fabrics on the instep provide breathability, while the internal Flywire cables on the quarter offer a snug fit to contain your foot during hard cuts and lightning-quick drives to the basket. A black Swoosh covers the sidewalls, complementing the purple sheath logo on the tongue and Kobe’s signature on the chromed-out heel counter. The FCB crest adorns the lace dubraes and sockliner, while the “8” and “24” details pay homage to Bryant’s iconic jersey numbers. A purple and gold gradient envelops the lightweight foam midsole, replicating the Lakers' uniforms. The hidden Air Zoom unit delivers excellent cushioning and responsiveness, boasted by a multidirectional herringbone outsole below.
