Nike Kobe 9 Elite Protro GS Halo

The Nike Kobe 9 Elite Protro GS “Halo” headlines the annual Halo series to commemorate the late Kobe Bryant’s birthday. This launch also marks the first-ever Protro edition of the iconic basketball shoe since its debut in 2014, helping the current and next generation of ballers channel their Mamba Mentality.

Inspired by the Black Mamba’s dedication to improving his game, this kids’ exclusive rendition aligns with the white-on-white palette of previous releases. Engineered mesh and Flywire cables construct the low-top upper, reinforced with thin TPU film overlays and a leather heel. White Swooshes grace the sides, whilst the signature Sheath logo embellishes the tongue and rear. The stitched lines on the heel reference Bryant’s Achilles Heel injury that he sustained in 2013, one of the setbacks Kobe overcame throughout his 20-year NBA career. Carbon fibre panelling provides support and stability, shored up by an enhanced data-mapped rubber outsole. A Nike React drop-in midsole delivers plush, responsive cushioning to keep you going until the final buzzer.

Launching on 23rd August alongside other footwear and matching apparel, you can find out where to get your hands on the Nike Kobe 9 Elite Protro GS “Halo” by keeping it locked to The Sole Supplier!
