PEACEMINUSONE x Nike Kwondo 1 Panda

Nike continues to explore its relationship with G-Dragon with another take on the PEACEMINUSONE Kwondo 1. Having already unveiled the Kwondo 1 in February of 2022 with a “Triple White” edition, the silhouette lacked the same reception that was experienced on the prior Air Force 1 projects. The South Korean rapper clearly has an eye for storytelling, with his Air Force 1s featuring a wear-away layer and Kwondo 1 boasting intricate broguing, you can always expect a playful element on his footwear collaborations.

The follow-up to the initial Kwondo 1 arrives over a year later with this “Panda” iteration, a hugely popular colourway since the "Panda" Dunk hype in 2020. Black panelling is added to the supple white leather underlays, with each bearing decorative perforations that give the shoe a formal appearance. Similar to the Air Force 1 detailing, a Floral insignia is embroidered onto the heel, tying it within the library of other PEACEMINUSONE x Nike collaborations. Co-branding continues on the left foot, with a spell out debossed onto the padded leather tongue and another inside on the leather sock liner. Note that the pair comes with an additional set of laces, along with a special edition Nike box rather than your standard red box.
