Unlike anything we’ve seen before, this shoe takes the early Noughties cult classic and gives it a contemporary twist that’s shocking and striking. Featuring an electrifying lightning graphic across its sock-like mesh upper, a contrasting white midfoot cage flanks the lateral and medial side panels, acting also the Air React Presto Lightning Black’s lacing system. A small black Swoosh is embroidered onto the vamp like the OG, but that’s pretty much where all the similarities stop.
Moving down towards the midsole, you’ll find that the classic Air unit has been replaced in favour of Nike’s brand new React foam. This is lined with a bright blue rubber outsole, and to round off the shoe, an illustration of a TV is printed across the insole – a nod to the shoe’s retro roots.
