Nike TN Air Max Plus Black University Red White

Since its inception in 1998, the Nike TN Air Max Plus has been adopted by many different subcultures. Whether you’re in Paris, London or Rome, you can spot the silhouette on the feet of sneakerheads across the world. Now arriving in this “Black University Red White” colourway, Nike has given us another solid Tn for the wardrobe.

The upper is constructed of a black mesh, typical of TN releases. The crazy support cage that is the most distinguishable feature belonging to the silhouette is here in a white-to-red gradient. The tongue is doused in red, while black laces form the usual lacing system with 3M detailing on the eyestays. The iconic TN jewel logo can be found on the spine of the shoe in a red edition that ties in with the upper’s standout colour. A white midsole keeps it classic while the Air Units and arch support are present in the same red motif. Rounding off the shoe is the coveted mini-Swoosh, a welcomed detail that signifies that these are based on the silhouette’s original release; which in a world full of updates is becoming harder to find.
