Nike TN Air Max Plus Sunset 2024

A certified icon in the history books, the legendary Nike TN Air Max Plus “Sunset” returns in 2024. This fan-favourite colourway headlined the successful run of the Tuned Air Max, a series that debuted in 1998 thanks to Sean McDowell's innovative design. Dropping alongside the hybrid TN Mercurial “Sunset” recently worn by Vinicius Junior, the latest retro version stays true to the OG details, making this iteration a must-have for Nike purists and TN lovers out there.

The iconic TN boasts a vibrant orange mesh upper, basked in a stunning gradient effect reminiscent of sunsets. This picturesque detail draws inspiration from McDowell’s beach trip in Florida, where he sketched samples based on the scenic views he witnessed. The black wavy TPU exoskeleton, which originated from swaying palm trees provides structure to the low-cut trainer, complemented by a transparent toe-cap and leather mudguard. An orange mini Swoosh decorates the sidewalls, while the yellow hexagonal TN symbol adorns the heel and insoles.

The crisp white PU midsole contains visible Tuned Air units in the forefoot and rear. These upgraded bubbles feature rubber hemispheres for enhanced durability and stability while maintaining bouncy and soft cushioning. The whale tail shank plate, clad in a black and orange gradient fade, shores up the midfoot for arch support.
