Nike TN Air Max Plus TNPO Black

Air Max icon meets football icon as Nike celebrates the 30th anniversary of the Tiempo series with a special-edition TN colourway. The long-standing football shoe line debuted during the 1994 World Cup and has been a household name since then, offering styles catering from the grassroots level to world-class athletes. The Nike TN Air Max Plus TNPO “Black” employs a luxurious take on the beloved Tuned sneaker, kitted in a stealthy colour palette honouring two icons from the ‘90s.

This premium colourway features a blacked-out leather base, swapped in for the typical mesh underlays of the regular TN. Patterned stitching on the upper replaces the pine tree-inspired wavy TPU overlays, backdropping the white oversized Swooshes on the sides inspired by the Tiempo boot. The thick fold-over tongue dons a white debossed Swoosh logo, covering the extra tongue layer underneath. Meanwhile, the yellow TN logo on the heel stays true to form, giving the discreet upper a pop of colour. Tuned Air bubbles on the forefoot and rear offer superior cushioning and comfort, stabilised by a sturdy midfoot shank inspired by a whale’s tail. A decoupled waffle sole pays homage to the patented traction pattern developed by Bill Bowerman in the ‘70s.
